After college, she worked as a graphic artist and spend 28 years as a muralist.  Living near the Gulf Coast, she draws inspiration from her surroundings, creating diverse and experimental works that often feature vibrant colors, patterns, or unexpected elements. Since retiring from mural painting, Kathy has embraced her love for plein air, dedicating more time to painting alongside fellow artists in unique and inspiring settings.
