Opening October of 2025, Kindred Studios is the vision of founder Regina Lee Parkinson, created to harness the creative tide that’s rising in Galveston. Kindred Studios is a hub for connection, creativity, and community.

We host classes, workshops, and collaborative events with the incredible artists who share the block, inviting locals and visitors alike to be part of the process. Our space brings together five resident artist partners—whose work is always on view—alongside a rotating selection of talent across genres, styles, and mediums.

Funky yet refined, Kindred Studios embraces Galveston’s eclectic spirit while showcasing fine art in a fresh, approachable way. Here, artistry meets atmosphere—welcoming kindred spirits of all stripes to explore, create, and connect.

Kindred is located in the historic 1870 E.S. Levy Building, originally the Tremont Opera House. Visit today or join us for an Artwalk evening, every 2nd Saturday.
